Public Relations, Energy Policy & Lobbying – On issues associated with hydraulic fracturing, water use, treatment and disposal, well spacing and compulsory integration, local governmental input into natural gas operations (i.e. local government efforts to block or impede natural gas well siting and development through local zoning or similar ordinances in New York and Pennsylvania) and the economic and tax impacts of natural gas development.
Mergers & Acquisitions – Mergers and acquisitions of companies involved in the oil and gas business, and acquisition of producing properties.
Land Leasing & Development Acreage Transactions – Including individual and coalition lease negotiations and acreage acquisitions and sales.
Litigation – Wrongful pooling actions, breaches of contract (including actions based on the A.A.P.L Model Form 610 Model Form Joint Operating Agreement seeking operator removal), contractor negligence, lease disputes and disputes arising between operators and non-operators over development practices.
Title Opinions – Preparation of drilling tract and division order title opinions in New York and Pennsylvania.
